How to store -- advice from the PVC foil supplier
How to store the PVC foil before using
Here are the following points from the PVC foil supplier, to ensure its performance and longevity:
1. Avoid direct sunlight :P VC film has poor stability to light and heat, and long-term exposure to sunlight may lead to decomposition, produce hydrogen chloride, and further automatically catalyze decomposition, causing discoloration, and the physical and mechanical properties also decline rapidly. Therefore, it should be avoided to store PVC film in places exposed to direct sunlight.
2.Suitable temperature environment :P VC film may begin to decompose at high temperatures, so it should be stored in a relatively cool environment to avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
3.Avoid contact with oily substances: Since the plasticizer in PVC film is easy to precipitate when used in contact with grease and food, it should be avoided to contact PVC film with oily substances to reduce the migration of plasticizers.
4.Correct Packaging: When storing PVC film, make sure it is packed correctly, avoid contamination by dust and dirt, and keep it clean and hygienic.
Avoid frequent folding: Frequent folding may cause creases or damage to the PVC film, affecting its use effect, so over-folding should be avoided as much as possible when storing.
